Prevents plaque buildup and cavities, removes existing plaque, treats inflamed and receding gums, cleanses and keeps the mouth antiseptic.
- The natural toothpaste has two components:
Marl Silica– a fine clay soil that absorbs toxins. The gentle texture of the Marl Silica cleans the teeth enamel and prevents plaque from clinging.
An essential oils synergy (blend) of clove bud and juniper: - Clove bud– for its antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and immediate effectiveness.
- Juniper– stimulates blood flow and therefore prevents receding gums.
To this blend I add lemon essential oil, which helps tissue renewal.
Add a hint of mint for freshness:
In addition to being refreshing, the mint essential oils improve the blood flow, and are antiseptic and anti-inflammatory.
- Pepper Mint– for a strong minty taste.
- Or Spearmint– for a delicate minty taste.
daily brushing with essential oils gives the advantage of maintaining oral and throat antiseptics.
How to use:
Wet your toothbrush and dip the upper part of the fibers in the Marl Silica.
Shake the essential oils blend and add 1-2 drops on top of the Marl Silica (start with 1 drop, until you get use to the taste).
Brush your teeth and gums gently.
If your gums are sensitive it is advisable to move to the natural toothpaste gradually. The gums are used to the toothpaste you are using and a change can evoke sensitivities. Therefore, in the first two weeks I advise you to brush once a day with the old toothpaste and once with the new toothpaste. At the end of the two weeks, with attentiveness to the gums, you can move to use the natural toothpaste exclusively.
Tips for treating inflamed and\or receding gums (from personal experience):
It is recommended to gently massage your gums every day, with circular movements towards the teeth (meaning, upper gums- massaging downwards and lower gums- upwards). It is recommended to massage with stimulating and anti-inflammatory essential oils (such as the synergy master blend). The purpose of the massage is to stimulate blood to the area and in that preventing gum withdrawal, the essential oils and the massage will help to treat the inflammation in case there is one, or to prevent it.
It is recommended that the toothbrush should be small and soft.
Every night after brushing, use a dental floss.
Set a date with a professional and gentle dental hygienist, once every 3-6 months (depending on your gums condition).
The tongue can be bed for bacteria, therefore, I recommend, every time you brush your teeth to clean the tongue, as well.
The causes of gums withdrawal can vary. One of them is stress that accumulates in the area of the mouth and jaw. The first step is to be aware of this and then to give attention to the stress (in ways such as touch therapy, someone to talk to, free time, walks in nature…).
